T-cut rear badges on silver VTR

  1. #1
Got bored today so decided to T-cut my rear badges. I used a cheap knock off version of T-cut (GS27 Scratch Remover), that I got from WIlkinsons for a couple of quid:

This is how the car looked before I did the badges:

    Starting the first badge:

    First badge finished:

Second badge finished (needs a clean):

    Overall finished effect :

At a few points I did use some wet and dry paper but found that this was far quicker but left a matt look about them as well as a few noticable scratches.

Worth the small amount of effort to do but beware your fingers will definately sting for a while afterwards lol

just tint your standard ones and theyll look ok with the black badges ive done mine just need to find a camera so I can photo the car

i dont think black badges suit a silver car imo stick out too much. much better standard silver colour i think

Na, it's just scratch remover so if anything will clean up the surrounding area. The whole advantage of using t-cut (or equivalent) is so that you don't have to take the badges off and snap the pins in the process. Took me around 20-30mins.
