   HI people thanks for the reply it seemed no one wanted to help .yes it smells of fuel abut and a little White smoke comes from the cat it's mk2 but the car runs don't over heat ???

   burning smell then when I rev it sounds like a tracker . But not all the time ?

   if your cat fails your second lambda sensor should pick up that its not working correctly and should bring up your engine management light.
   
   this is a thread i made when i got my engine light on, my problem was either a faulty lambda sensor or cat gone.

    i have green sensor and a blue if i unplug the green it dont rev it just stays the same lol
