   HELLO GUYS!

   is there anyway you can test if your is ecu unlocked???
   cuz i got one with my engine and i was told it was unlocked
   but i would still like to test it.....
   
   ENGINE WILL BE GOING IN SOON I WAS JUST THINKING WHAT ELS WILL I NEED....
   
   
   like i wana get a VTS gearbox and i will need all the oils fluids.
   
   and whats this i heard a but needing to have a fuel return??????????
   what do i need to do that?
   
   throttle cabe?? will that be ok?
   
   is there anyfin that i have missed???????

   hi guys i have just got a
   
   VTS engine and loom and ECU..
   
   
   i was wondering what should i change...
   
   i was thinking....
   
   >new coil pack
   >new/recon injectors
   >oil catch tank
   >oil cooler
   > my mate said to get a ightend and balanced Flywheel??....
   > and all the normal stuff oil spraks ect...
   
   im guna cam it but i want it running first.
   and when i got the engine i was told that it has had some head work
   to it wich you can see from the pics. its realy clean!! my mate thinks that it mite be port and polished? and its got a weird/new looking head gasket.
   what els should i get???
   
   
   as you can see from here how clean the head is...

   how can you tell it's been port and polished by the picture ?!
   
   Special headgasket ?!
   
   Change:
   cambelt,
   waterpump.
   ilder and tensioner
   new alternator belt
   oil filter
   oil
   thermostat
   radiator
   anti freeze
   gearbox oil
   Driveshaft oil seals
   spark plugs
   
   can fit a lightened flywheel
   could do crankshaft oil seals
   get injectors ultrasonically cleaned - pm injectortune on here

   you don't need an oil cooler btw - save your money for cams

   So did yer mate take the head of to look at the headgasket?
   
   It most like one of them uprated 100 quid headgaskets haha
   
   Hope if you took the head of that the head gasket and head bolts are replace!

    Yeh good work, is a lot nicer working on an engine when it's in a stand as opposed to in a tyre on the floor.
    
    Plans sound good for it - now is a good time to go anything to the engine as it's a lot easier timing up cams etc. on a stand as opposed to in the engine bay

    UNLOCKED ECU
    LOOM
    RADIATOR HOSES
    SOME SORT OF AIR FILTER SETUP
    EXHAUST MANIFOLD
    COMMON SENSE
    ABILITY TO SEARCH ON HERE

    why don't you just try it in a friends 3 plug vts?

    Should work on any car if it's unlocked?

    Don't know much about ECUs, but I'm sure once it's unlocked - that's it. You can't lock it again.
    
    Try it on a friends car.
