Diesel dump valves?

    Pointless?

    Been looking around and they dont really seem to sound anything near as good.

    Sorta like... "You have a tdi... congrats...."

    theey dont really rev enough for it to spool and whistle like you would want.

    do without or if you really really want it to whistle
    slice and induction hose and then wait for your engine to go bang!

    I've heard fitting one actually decreases power on a dirty derv.

    dump valvue it or get one of those fake turbos in ur exhaust ftw

    Dump valve goes tshh.
    Fake turbo bollocks whistles, they don't sound anything alike, and anyway, he's already got a turbo.

    Yeah you can get them, they don't work in the same way as a petrol dump valve though as you need an electronic solenoid to open it when you let off the throttle when changing gear etc..

    They sound okay but useless on a derv especially if yu have a crappy turbo which takes ages to spool !
