right ive had the car jacked up and i took the wheel off and the pin is bent but the arm that wheel bolts to is wobling slighty near the torsion bar side, how hard is it to replace the bush in this side where it bolts onto the beam its self??? and will this be picked up on the mot? it doesnt move alot but more than the other sidde does n if the wheels put on and put back on the road and ya do sum tyre kickin it moves, my cars been dropped 70mm on the rear if its any concern help me please arghhhhhhhhhhhhh problem after problem

If there's play in the main beam bearing onto the arm then likely the pin in the beam is worn and you'll need a new beam as putting new bearings on a worn beam they will fail a lot faster
    it's an mot fail aswell

it is rare that the beam is useable after the bearings gone tbh

ya shittin me arnt ya, a just had it lowerd as well, is there no way of me been able to swap the bush in the top? a could do with a diagram of the rear beam in exploded view if ya no wot i mean so it shows what goes where, and if you can buy recon beams wi new bushes n bearings why cant i do it my self.

a think am gunna go on a downer nar, hope fully sum1 will write my car off later cos ive had a few near misses last few days with idiots not lookin where there going !!!!

to swap that pin you need a 60tonne press

    companies can do it
but you in your garage cant unless you have a press

just been reading on another site where sum1 had same problem but his rear moved 2 inch and mine aint that bad it must move a few mills mine n when i give it a good kick the wheel bounces if ya no wot i mean so am guessin it aint totally fucked yet and can be repaired easy and cheap so where can i get hold of wot i need is it just a bush i will need and is it easy to take off the arm from the main beam its self? gonna go down scrappers see wot i can find never no if i can pull an arm off quick enough n post it through fence next to field al have it sorted eh instead of buyin a full beam lol so hurry up guys i need info and a diagram please asap all info is appreciated very much chaps n chapettes

still worn so wont be any use

a little bit of play means it will get worse quite quickly

and its not a bush in there its bearings that sit on the pin
the bearing collapses damages the pin and if you put new bearings on a damaged pin it wrecks the bearings

    its common on these cars

oh and btw the pin im on about is on the bit that bolts to the shell of the car
so nickingone from a scrappy wont work
