vts costs

Hi my head gasket went today as well as a leaky sump. Now more turned towards buying a VTS engine and getting it dropped in, (called halifax and have now got a £1000 loan...money on friday/saturday )
Where is the best place to get an engine...how much?
does anyone on here do engine swaps (close to me...west midlands)
Thanks, and am i right thinking i need engine, gear box, ecu...anything else
    Thanks again

Shouldn't you have done your research before going to the bank?
Best place would probably be off here. Then if the seller is shit or the engine you can destroy their rep in the community.
Depends on the millage. I would budget between £300 and £600

for a grand im sure you could get a nice jp4 engine put in there which would have a lot less miles

the 16v engine out the c2's, basically the same but obviously they are newer so have less miles on them, a few things need to be swapped over with the saxo vts engine though, so its best to buy one which has already been converted

iirc the sump, throttle body, cams, engine mount, exhaust manifold need to be swapped
