Hello All.
Firstly may I apologise for registering for this post, I never feel comfortable registering just when I need help when I haven't given anything back to the community, but sometimes I have no choice.
My girlfriend has a 1.1 or 1.2 (its not much more) petrol saxo. Its a very basic model and is a 51 plate.
She broke down a few months ago, it felt it was firing on 3 cylinders, called out the RAC, they fitted a coil pack. She was back on the road. Since then the coil pack has gone another 2 times and the RAC have replaced the coil pack under warranty both times. But obviously there is something underlying that causes the coil pack to go.
The RAC bloke said that it could be the ECU. I've had a search about and gathered that they can go hand in hand when breaking.
I'm trying to find out what the next step for her is. I'm assuming we will have to take it to the garage, they can run a diagnostic and go from there? Is this a classic problems for Citroen?
Thanks already for reading this, and again I'm sorry for not having something to give back to your community.
Regards,
Chris.
