   i mean like just the sticky out edge being silver, but i was thinking about just sanding it to get it chrome instead of sticking rim tape on, then sealing it somehow, a bit of lacquer maybe

   i've got black vtr'r with red tape, could put a pic up if u wanted.
   the tape is fine where i got it from just takes a while to get on
   and it only cost £3.80
   that's the best bit

   if anyone want's red i can send out a set, i ordered from someone else and didn't come for like 2 weeks so i ordered from here and some more turned up on monday! so i've got extra's but only in red

    Ryza, could i still jet spray my wheels if i had that rim tape or have you gotta be well careful?

    the paint wouldnt stick to the rim tape, it would probably just separate like water on a waterproof material. probably better to spray then rim tape.

    I ment jet spray to clean, not to paint, wanna know how well they stick? Obviously a painted line would be better, but i wanna have a go with the rim tape i think to see what it looks like first

    ahh, yeah i think jet spray would be fine, my mate has rim tape on his and jet washes all the time, never has a problem with it
