Removing mk1 spoiler?

   How do I go about removing the standard spoiler on my mk1 VTS?
   People have told me its bolted to the boot through the roof but it certainly isn't, unless they cover over the holes inside the boot?
   
   Seems like its glued on somehow but I don't want to go pulling at anything just yet untill im sure.

   might be easyer to swop the tail gate over................

   How could buying and fitting another boot be the easier option when all I want to do is remove the spoiler?

   Takes 20mins to swop over?! or just un bolt your one?? you need to look for the bolt holes in your tailgate..........

   mk1 spoilers are removed by undoing 2 bolts through holes in the tailgate, i know as i remove plenty, maybe the tailgate has been replaced with a non-VT panel at sometime and its been bonded on?

   the bolts are on the inside of the boot and they are hidden inside the boot pain in the arse to get off but if its bonded on then when you remove it will probly damage the boot and have to have its repaired and sprayed so alot easyier to replace the boot
