News : Not a major problem but ANNOYING .

   hiya guys i know i am new to this site but i thought i would come on here for help when my saxo goes wrong it has a wierd noise and no mechanics can work it out (N) . say i am in second or third gear and i let of the gas it will make a clicking noise under the footwell and it dose it when i am in neutral too when i rev up to 3500 rpm 4000 rpm then let of it will make a clicking rattling noise underneith the car sounds like it is coming from the middle of the car under the footwells . you can not hear it from out side when you rev it only when you are actually sat in it any ideas anyone much greatfull if someone helps and find what this annoying prob is . especially when you have someone in the car and they go whats that noise lol its embarrinsing its quite loud i just put the music up lol

   haha, could be a few things.. might be the exhaust rattling and vibrating the car, another suggestion would be your engine/gearbox mounts clunking..

   brande new gear box mounts aso it wight be the exhaust howd you stop it lol

   New rubbers? Tighten it up if its loose? Clamps possibly too

   look at anything touching/rubbing from the exhaust and stuff

   Depends mate as did u have that sound before u had the Clutch fitted? If not it may be something to do with that but if u did have the problem there before the Clutch was fitted I doubt it then.

    If so its your Driveshaft intermediate bearing £22 from citroen or new shaft (easier tofit) £80 euro car parts.

    could well be the bits inside the mid pipe - may be broken and rattling.
