Important! : Passenger side lock - is it cattled?

   Ok guys, recently my passenger door hasn't been shutting properly, it shuts on the first click, but then it's semi open, as if you've shut it to lightly, i'm sure you know what I mean?
   
   Anyway, it will not for the love of god shut properly, if I push the door it will open, even if it's locked, so obviously the locking mechanism isn't working, and is nackerd as it's not holding the door anymore?
   
   Has anyone ever experienced this? Do I have to get a new mechanism? How much are they and are they an easy fit, as it looks like a biatch to do. I would imagine they are around £60 brand new?

   yes your lock in worn out its a fairly common fault should be able to pick 1 up for about £10 second hand or could always try citroen for new
   106 one should be the same as long as its off same side i'e passenger side
   
   and yes they are a real pain to fit

   as deks said, sounds like the mechanism is knackered and isn't latching on. Shame i've got a drivers side mechanism but not a pass one spare

   Shame, been looking on ebay and there pretty cheap, how much roughly will it cost to fit? Could I do it myself, it looks a right pig.

   It is a bit of a fiddly job but you can do it yourself Just pop down to a scrappy and get one there.
