Air Filter - help with placement.

Hi everyone.
I just bought a cone air intake and i fitted it myself for just 5 minutes in the way that you will see.
I removed the stock air filter and left the box empty.
Today i bought an air breather for the rocker and here are the question:

Dont laugh at me i know this way is pretty wrong so..

I bought too an aluminium pipe for kitchen respirator etc.
I'm going to remove the air box and put the cone to the TTB.
The air breather i bought seems big to me and i think that if i put it directly on the rocker pipe it will touch the rocker or will not touch it but will have very little space between them.
It's a VTR MK2 engine with 98 hp i think you will notice that.
And i got another idea for the rocker breather but i don't really know for what is pipe number 1 in the picture?

Anyways, you will see how i placed the stock air pipe from the front mask to get fresh air. How and where should i put the aluminium pipe that i bought to get more fresh air when i put the cone to the TTB?

I need every sort of advises. Thanks!

Oh and i forgot to ask one more think. I saw a lot of pictures of VTR engines without this think on them. For what is it? And should i remove it?

Just fitted the cone filter to the TTB and the breather to the rocker pipe and got the aluminium pipe from the radiator to the cone filter and the sound is OUTSTANDING! I can't even hear me speak to myself in the car when i push the throttle! It is that loud...!
And the acceleration is pretty faster than before.
Tomorrow will post pics and try to make video.
Also cleaned my engine bay oil leaks etc. and IMO it seems to be pretty clear now.
