Pros and cons of remap

   Just playing with the thought of a remap for my vtr just wondering what is the
   Bad side to doing this and what other gains other than performance I got told that possible better mpg... Any advice and comments welcome.

   no point really doing it unless car is cammed.
   it just gets everythin to work together really

   there isnt really a con other than the price of a proper remap which is suited to your car. dont get just a generic map, false economy.
   
   i would say its not worth getting a proper fuel map unless you were running significant modifications ie cams, exhaust, induction or throttle bodies etc etc.
   
   it should make the fuel economy better too as it is suited to your car
