MK1 & MK2 interchangeable parts?

   I'm looking at buying a MK2 VTR or VTS and was wondering if the exhaust on my current MK1 VTR and brand new drive shafts would fit on a MK2 VTR/VTS? Also how interchangeable are parts in general from a MK1 VTR to a MK2 VTR and a MK1 VTR to a MK2 VTS? Cheers for any help.

   All interior parts are interchangeable.
