Loud knocking from rear.

    Ive searched and cant find anything!

    Basically happens when say going through a pot hole, or a nasty underlation.

    doesnt happen all the time, but now and again.

    Ive checked everything, theres nothing lose, nothing has any play...

    and its coming from the rear passengers side only.

    if anyone could shed some sort of light, it would be greatly appreciated!

    I have a similar thing, again no play in the beam as I re-furbed it myself around 8 months and did a proper job! Mine isn't that loud though, more like a rattle. Pretty sure mine is a little white ball valve thing that clips onto the fuel tank as the clips are broke.

    Have you tried the damper bolts? Beam bolts etc? Its a right pain trying to find problems like this!

    got the same thing mate jack ya car up and see if ya wheel moves up and down before the shock starts to compress if that makes sence if it dose the bushes at the end of the yellow beam have gone

    Very likely early signs of radius arm bearings going. The noises will get louder and more frequent - just before it drives you insane you will give in an fit a reconditioned axle.

    Mine needs doing too so I know how irritating it is lol
