just wondering... (mk1 Sax to evo x Style) with pics

   how hard do you reckon it would be to make a mk 1 saxo front end
   
   
   (sorry if thats your saxo, got the photo from photobucket)
   
   Look like an Evo X front end?
   
   
   (obviously without the mitsubishi badge - DUH)
   Pretty similar shape? dont think it would take too much to do?
   
   Opinions?

   probably not even possible due to width of both cars but even if it was it would be hours and hours of welding modifying.

   i dont mean like EXACTLY the same
   
   but just a grill that shape, i love it.. and think it would look pretty good if done right (not bodged!)
   
   im pretty sure it would be do-able

   ive seen people paint the lower grill bit black which gives a similar look...
   
   id say
   colour code bumper
   paint lower grill black in a similar shape as the evo
   mesh upper grill
   angel eyes
   maybe get rid of the fogs aswell?
   
   thats as far as id go to maake it similar tbh

   yer for the bumper, i cba posting a pic, but then you need a black mk1 grill to, like the whole thing imo..... may look a bit.....odd though!!!

   i know about wide mouth bumpers, but i mean have it look like the front grill and lower grill are 1 piece, taking out the number plate recess and stuff
   
   pretty much cut the center section out the bumper and rework it somehow..

   just looks like some pikey has come by and stolen your grills lol, the best bet would be to take the standard grill out and replace with black mesh, then do as said above and shown in the mk2 saxo pic, and black angel eyes, thats your best bet without it looking dog shite lol

    No offence to people though but the 'painted widemouth' looks terrible imo.
    
    If you're doing a widemouth, do it properly. Have the slat's cut out, smoothed and meshed.
