How to spray tint tail lights?

   Basically what it says in the title. Im not sure and i don't wanna fuck it up. And yes i know im a noob, but im sorry, everyones gotta learn somewhere.
   
   Im guessing i just take the lights off the car and then spray them but seems too simple and as i said, i dont wanna fuck it up. The reason im spraying is cause i wanna have smoked ones, but i want to keep the originals.

   Yeah its easy mate just do one coat at a time until youre happy with the level on tint you cant go wrong really, just try not to spray to much on in one go or otherwise it will start to run. Also there should be enough to give the side repeaters a quick coat too.

   Make sure when your spraying that the paint doesnt actually get on the light. At risk of them looking shit

   And another question, should i spray over the reverse light too, ive read that it's illegal to tint that one?

    just avoid doing it full stop and buy some smoked jewels if you must. interior plastics - plastic primer then colour coat

    cant do reverse and its silly to think it anyway really.
    
    super gluing tights to your lights in the 80's gave a tinted look for pennies

    right, so i detatch lights, tape over the reverse light, spray until happy with the tint level, then replace back onto car. Correct?

    if you are going to do it. remove the light clusters using the black nut inside the car. remove the bulb holder and bulbs. then just spray them lightly and evenly. You dont need to tape anything up.
