Ecu's

   Basicly im more than likley changing my furio from a 1.4 to a 1.6 vtr lump, all im wondering is will be ecu work? i do have a vtr ecu but how do i get it to work with my key? as i dont have the vtr keys?! any help appriciated

   depends are you getting a mk2 vtr engine or a mk1 engine and depends on what the plug is on the ecu is .. i think if your getting a mk2 vtr engine then you could probaly get away with unlocking your ecu then just putting it back in. should be a plug n play job hope this helps ha

   yeah mk 2 engine for my mk 2 car ecu's have the same plugs just wondering if my furio one would work with the vtr engine, lol, thanks for the input

   the furio ecu will work it will just run lean and hot not a good idea

   no, u need the vtr ecu. it needs unlocking or you need an unlocked one. contact bluehawk

   Ye .. Either get the mk2 ecu from the engine that your getting or equally just get a unlocked ecu or send a 3 plug vtr ecu of the bluehawk electronics they're located in hucknall nottingham and it'll cost you around 90 quid + post and packaging, hope this helps
