Citroën paint and lacquer

  1. #1
Reeto, im wanting to paint my rocket cover gasket tomorrow but rather than buy more spray paint, I've got some primer, Citroën paint and lacquer left over from when I filled and painted a few dints on my body work.

Due to the heat that will be generated on the cover gasket, does anyone reckon that paint should be okay to use or not?

    Cheers

You need high temp paint, it will most likely crumble off due to the heat, if it isnt high temp...

i disagree.. i painted my rocker with 2k paint and ive done well over 1 thousand miles and its still lookin new. All depends on the prep work tho. Best to sand blast so the paint keys to the metal
