#2I would say its got the wrong driveshaft. Is it a mk2 car?
-
#3wishbone maybe ?
-
#4It's on the rear nearside wheel can't be wrong driveshaft it's been on there since I've owned the car and I only had the problem a little while? Also do you have rear wishbones? Lol
-
#5Possible radius arm bearing worn. Best bet is to buy a recon axle. A few guys on here do them in exvchange for your old unit.
-
#6if the wheel bearing and hubs done then it will be the ream beam bearings. New beam time
Stand behind the car and see if the wheels sit like this
I--I correct
/--I fucked
I--\ fucked
/--\ very very fucked
there should be no visible camber on the rear wheels -
#7yeh what tom said lol
-
#8Fuck it! I though you guys were gonna say rear axle how much is it for a recon one? For vts mk2 anyone know? Also is it dangerous to drive the car like this?
-
#9i just had a recon axle fitted to my car by IM axle, their axles roughly aroun £290 but i think you get 10% discount for been a premium member, £25 back for giving them your fucked axle
and i think it was £80 to get them to fit it. their nice and really friendly guys, leave them a message on here as they have their own thread page thingy bob

#12Ok ta mate are they difficult to swap yourself? Instead of a garage doing it?
-
#13well, if you have all the right tools ect and mechanical knowledge i can't see why not but for £80 i thought that was a decent price for them to do it.
