#2Any one else experienced this?
-
#3surely some one has an ideaaaa
-
#4Release bearing mabie?
-
#5if its only doing it when the clutch pedal is fully depressed it will be the release bearing. Best getting a clutch kit and changing the plates while your doing that
-
#6the release bearing is the most likly cause not really much else it can be.
-
#7Alright how much will this cost? does it need to be done urgently?
-
#8...and when i release the clutch its fine its just when goin in, the last bit makes a kind of crunch, doesnt even do it the whole time
-
#9New clutch fitted, around £200.
Its not a hard job, pick up a haynes manual and a clutch kit for about £100

#12dont really need another person... Cant imadgine a 1.4 box being heavy ? plus he might just be jacking it up and doing it... An extra person would help if he knew what he was doing. But I've seen 2 first time mechanics attempting to do brake padsQuote:^^^ what maty said above and inculd a extra person and a easier job.
