    Release bearing mabie?

if its only doing it when the clutch pedal is fully depressed it will be the release bearing. Best getting a clutch kit and changing the plates while your doing that

    New clutch fitted, around £200.

Its not a hard job, pick up a haynes manual and a clutch kit for about £100

dont really need another person... Cant imadgine a 1.4 box being heavy ? plus he might just be jacking it up and doing it... An extra person would help if he knew what he was doing. But I've seen 2 first time mechanics attempting to do brake pads Funny times
