conversion prices and help please

   hi, i am thinking of putting a vts block in my vtr, i want to do quite a bit to the current engine just to get little gains and of course servicinge ect before i start, would it be a similar price just to puit a vts in?
   
   also would i have to change the gearbox??
   
   where shoulds i be looking to get a recon engine, and rough idear or prices to fit ect thanks

   one of my mates put a saxo desire diesel gear box in, he reckons its alot better with a vts engine, he says it can take much more of a bruising
