Exhaust leak= pain in the Fooking arse

    alright guys just preparing my car for its mot and its got the most annoying exhaust leak, ive got a janspeed backbox but its leaking at the olive flange on the rear and it will not seal properly! i dont know whether to get a standard backbox and put that on? dont wanna waste money when its not needed though, what do you think? Lee

    have you tryed gum gum or exhaust putty?

    I have a similar problem mate, even when clamped is there still a lot of movement in the backbox?

    if its that much of a problem just drop it into t5he garage to have it welded to the centre section, usually around £20 and alot more reliable!

    all sorted now, got the mig welder out that sorted the fucker out . initially i didnt want to go down the route of welding but i had to lol.

    I use high temp silicon gasket sealer as it stays flexible.
