gearbox problems

   When i put my foot down in second then let off theres is a bang and the gear stick moves forward. just wondering if any one might no what it could be. iv been told it could be engine mount but i think its more likely to be something wrong with the gearbox.

   Hi,
   
   There are three engine mounts
   1) Under the ECU
   2) Under the battery tray
   3) at the lower rear of the gearbox
   
   There should be only very slight movement in any of them but nothing major. Also check that the exhaust mounts are firm.

   if that is the problem do you no how much it is to get an engine mount replaced?
