    so about 2 kg lumped of a standard one would make a decent weight i take it?
    is there a good way and a bad way for it to be done aswell?

    if ya gonna get it lightened get it done professionaly as DIY flywheel lightening can lead to serious damage to bottom end : )

    Ehh, it'll do a hell of a lot more than just bottom end damage. Dont even bother, buy a proper lightweight flywheel.
