Pretty sure the connections are different locations,
Would suggest just going to GSF

It looks to me like the vtr and 106 gti rad dont differ much apart from it being longer...

the gti rad is a vts rad, as the later mk2 vtr's had vts rads in them (the bigger ones), instead of the smaller ones like 1.1s/1.4s. also for the record i have a gti/vts fan in my furio and its fine

You'll need to cut and re-join the wires for the fan as obviously the gti plug wont fit the saxo loom

shouldnt think so, it shoudl be a straight swap but personally would never fit a second hand radiator unless it looked like new...
for about £35 you can get a brand new delivered. might save you a lot of trouble/risk is the car ever overheated

With the hoses the top hose is exactly the same fitting. However the bottom hose is of course longer on the VTR so all you'll have to do is cut your existing hose to length to match the larger radiator.
Also with the radiator which you are buying make sure that it is the correct one for your car. If you have a blue sensor on your existing radiator under where the top hose is then you'll have to make sure that the new radiator has the fitting hole to put it. Some models dont and the hole is blanked up. Obviously if you dont have that sensor and the new rad has the hole then you'll have to find a blanking plug of some sorts
