   Was changing the rear view mirror the other week and CRACK!!! massive star shaped crack in it now only thing is the car aint on the road so no insurance :/ any1 know off any cheap places etc...?

   Jus phne about and get quotes.........
   The longer you leave the bigger the crack will get,unless its garaged.........

   Get it insured, get windscreen cover and use it will be a lot cheaper than getting it done yourself..

   As Pryo said, just insure it and then do it. Normally windscreen claims dont affect your NCB but check with the insurer first.

   im sure you get a good price somewhere, i paid 70 for a new screen , but im in leicester, mine was a small chip, then the sun came out and when i was in traffic and then bang, went right the way across
