VTS Gearbox Sensor Picture

    Just wondering if anyone can tell me what this gearbox sensor is as the plug in mine is loose (the metal clip part holding it together isnt there so i can just pull the plug off the sensor)?

    Read on here about there being a sensor that tells when the engine is in reverse, presumably to switch on the reverse lights but is that this is for?

    ye thats the gearbox reverse gear sensor and ye reverse lights etc..

    the engine is never in the reverse, the gearbox however can be :thumbsup:

    as i just bought that sensor today, as mine was sticking so constantly had reverse lights lol
