Gearbox

   Basically, changing from 2nd to 3rd, 4th down to 3rd, theres a odd slightly squeky noise. As though clutch maybe aint in problem, but after a while it stops and the gears become fine. Anyone know anything about it ?

   Also when i took it in for brakes monday bloke said something about gear linkages and hed sprayed something or tightened, cant remember, but its still same.

   If it aint broke dont fix it! Just will be the gear likage movement on the ball and socket!

   But aint there a chance of leaving it and making it worse?
   Id rather pay a small bit instead of waiting an paying large amount for a bigger problem.

   Try shortshifting: 5th to 3rd / push 1 into 3rd and see if you get that noise. Have you changed your gearbox oil or never done it ?

   that'll only get worse & worse-get it fixed. drop of wd40 or oil wouldnt go amiss just now though

   Im thinking it maybe now jus be some wd40. As its kinda died to down to an annoying squeek. I tried shortshifting but it doesnt make a fun drive. I aint changed gearbox oil, not even had car a month and for about 1week or 2 it was sat in a agarage and drive way because a nigerian hit the side of me. the bastard.
