VT Kit Question..

  1. #1
Okay.. So I want to VT Kit my Mk2 1.1 Flatarch.. And no I don't care if you're thinking "No point VT Kitting a 1.1, just save for a VTR/S".. We'll no because there's a little thing called "Insurance", which is a pain in the ass..

Right, sorry about that.. My question.. (Might sound dumb).

Are Mk1 and Mk2 VT kits the same or would I have to look for one specifically for Mk2's.

    Thanks..

Jesus.. You two replied so quick, thank you so much.
  6. #6
to fit it to a flat arch you have to modify the rear arches, in other words cut them a bit to make the VT kit fit proper.
  7. #7
Yup I've been looking at some guides, thanks for heads up though.
  8. #8
just checking you knew, have you looked on ebay for a VT kit?
  9. #9
    how about this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-saxo-v...item2eae57a03e
  10. #10
Insurance company will make you pay extra for a Vt kit on a flat arch.

  20. #20
    WDF??? whats that mean mate
  21. #21
Surely the drivers side wing is already with those other parts, right?
  22. #22
if you mean what it is then ones a wing the others a trim
  23. #23
WDF/WTF = What The F*** lol? Or you mean something else lol?
  24. #24
the VT kit is just trim that you can glue/bond into place, you do not need the wing as the VT kit goes over the wing on your car
  25. #25
    ...Umm wait.. lol
  26. #26
    O right, thanks mate.

  44. #44
cool, good luck with mate and if you ever need some ideas feel free to look at my progress thread.
  45. #45
Have done, your car needs a clean *Points at empty Red Bull can* lol, only joking.
  46. #46
haha it is true mate, does need a clean
  47. #47
I thought your picture of how you wanted your car sprayed was pretty cool.. I also like your boot lol.. Simple but quite effective.

Good job with the gear stick aswell, that yellow was pretty random.
  48. #48
yer, did have a yellow theme going for a bit
  49. #49
what you think of the odd two tone lol
  50. #50
Hmm not sure, personally I'm not too keen on it, sorry.

But I think it could work if it was a lighter colour.. Bright blue and a dullish grey don't mix too well.
  51. #51
Icelandic grey, sorry, I really do love that colour, just don't think the blue goes with it..
  52. #52
    no worrys mate
  53. #53
I can see why you want to be different though.. Pretty much everyone on here has identical cars, just different colours lol..

It like compulsery to have Smoked Jewels, T-Cut your badges.. ETC.
  54. #54
any ideas what your gonno do mate?
  55. #55
Actually that was kinda dumb on my behalf.. Saying that.. ROFL

At the end of the day, we're all driving Saxo's.
