urgent help needed, broken down!

    the last couple of miles my accelerator pedal has been getting stiff to press and it just got to the point while im pressing it as hard as i an i can only get the engine to rev to about 2k rpm just checked under the bonnet and the throttle body is nice a loose so why is my cable getting stuck??

    Try turning the butterfly at the other end of your throttle cable and see how easy it goes, or disconect it and pull it

    Sounds like the cable is stretching and starting to split. if you can move the TB butterfly very easily then just put a new cable in 5-10 min job bit fiddly underneath the dash but if you have your head under there and feet on the headrest should be easy. gd luck

    got it sorted lads the spring clip came off and i was right next to a bloody garage and didn't reailse lol they used some tape and cable ties and is now working perfectly should hold until i get home
