Tryed hammering sockets onto it.. no joy. Would it be possible to drill out ?
  2. #2
hammer the sockets on, get a smaller socket than the actual bolt and give it some welly mate,

That's worked for me so many times now

You can get spcial tools for the job, phone around some local garages.

19mm socket iirc go get a cheap one then smash the crap out of it thats what I had to do in the end

You'll have to buy a new hub aswell then, since the locking wheel nut will be inside on the thread on the hub mate

take it to a garage, will be cheaper than wrecking the wheel

a stud extractor should work, else drill a small hole in it and keep increasing the size of the hole, eventually the bolt will fall apart, just make sure the hole is central and you dont catch the threads when drilling.

Wheels now fucked! Need to get one from the scrappy soon...

Tryed everything yet to no avail !!!

Try tightening the other 3 bolts up tight, then whatever method you were trying.

I welded some blobs on the inner of a socket which lined up with the cutouts in the bolt.
