Help me please

   hey all
   really in need of help,was suppose to sell my 1.1 saxo today
   but wednesday evening i ran out of petrol on the way to the
   garage(shocking eh) and i kept trying to start it till the battery
   nearly died , manage to push it in a parking space where my sis bf
   bought me sum petty, and since then i carnt get nufing on my dials
   no mph or rev counter, or how much petrol ive got in there ive filled
   up since since then stuck a tenner in earlier and nout,my sis fella
   said my speedo sensor my have gone what is going on it wasnt like this
   when i was driving it mon to wed can anyone help PLEASE

   Not really sure mate tbh it could be the whole cluster that's fooked if non of it is working :/ I'm sure somebody will be able to answer your prob

   First off, welcome to Sax-p. When on here, try and type queries so that people can read them easily (text talk is frowned upon and will get you nothing but abuse so spell normally please). They'll understand the problem quicker and will usually help you out.
   
   At the top of the screen you'll see a "search" button, try typing "dials not working" or similar into there... read through the results and try suggestions one by one. More than likely this situation has been covered many times before so you may well find your answer in there.

   refuel the tank, recharge the battery, change the dials fuse. Jeeeeeeeeez

   dials fuse ?? where bouts is that ??
   i tryed testing the fuses last night they are all ok
   the battery is fine no problems what so ever

   k i read a recent topic posted by a member
   who had the same problem, he got told to
   disconnect his battery i done that for a couple
   of serconds and hey presto the speedo an rev limiter work
   just gota play about and try and get petrol gauge working any ideas ??
   then i will be happier then a pig in pig shit

   petrol gauge still doesnt work?
   have you filled the tank up? i mean full.
   it probably will be the sender in the fuel tank....

   Sender could be stuck/sticking due to going so low? (longshot I know!)

    please help someone
    filled it up yesterday and the fuel gauge still hasnt moved
    if i start it up what happends is , on start up dial moves a bit with the red light on, that goes off and it goes from empty to full 3 times then ends up
    back to empty , i really dont know what to do but its doing my head in

    Sounds like faulty fuel sender to me.

    thats what mine is doing.so will filling it up to the top work or do i got to replace the sender?
