   saxsport zorst system, slightly confused with this section.
   
   "The dyno testing was a huge success. The prototype system was consistently producing 111bhp (peaking at 111.6bhp) showing a good increase in power and torque over the standard system (which produced 106bhp on the same dyno)."
   
   So they are saying the VTR is 106 bhp not 98bhp?
   
   I do want one but this is just confusing.

   the car might of had different mods already and its just saying how it can improve the bhp
   
   they might be a bit cheeky and already added a 4-2-1 and an induction kit, so it gives the exhaust a better potential bhp figure you see, because as you already know most modifications work better when used in conjunction with other mods so basically they aren't lying or making figures up they are just making it more favorable there way lol

   must have been an optimistic dyno lol they said the highest rise in bhp was 7 bhp on a 106 gti and they said they got 11.6bhp on a vtr which would give an increase of 13.6bhp from a 98bhp vtr!
   
   its saying the vtr had an increase of 5.6bhp, im not saying there results are wrong, just that the dyno is giving out very high results if they got 106bhp from a vtr lol

   Oh k so can't expect more than a 5bhp gain?

   sounds very optamistic figures. 4-6bhp if your lucky. i have a question tho.. whats the diff between the race and road ones? power and noise?

   Probably the usual, race being a straight pipe, road being a sport cat.

   No all VTRs are going to be 98, some maybe less some maybe more. Just sounds like the one they tested the system on was 106 before and after was 111 so gave a 5bhp gain.

   its nothing to do with the cat its the shape of the tail pipe, you can get a cat and decat versions of both the race and road versions, the road version just looks a bit more classy/civilised lol

    yer well if they dyno it on the same dyno with 106 and got 111 bhpv then that a increase of 5 bhp which is about right.. just stating that it was 106... could of been 98 on a different dyno and got increase of 5 on that they are showing the increase not the BHP!!!
    
    so showing the system increase the bhp by 5 bhp... instead of saying it made a vtr get 111 bhp so peoplew think it got more than it really did.
    
    they are beening very truthful.. so good on them.

    sorry i see someone answer the question they are showing the increase of bhp not the overall bhp figures basiclly.

    i was just looking at the website and it shows the road as oval at the start and then round in the next pic. shame as i wouldnt mind a more standard looking pipe

    the original was tested on a mk1, and it was a decat. bear that in mind if you have a mk2
