Driveshaft/diff trouble.

   Basically, my vts has a knocking/rumbling noise that happens when i go over a bump at speed, or go round a right hand corner with the throttle on but only slightly makes the noise if i turn left.
   
   I replaced the drivers side driveshaft as the cv had split and was bone dry, but its still making the noise. The passenger side shaft has a small bit of play in it but im not a car mechanic so i dont know if its normal or not.
   
   So to cure the noise, do i put a passenger side driveshaft in or search for a new gearbox?

   It does sound like a cv problem. I would get someone to take a closer look at the play in the passenger side shaft.

   have you look at the anti roll bars aswell some time they can dry and make a bumping noise up and down bumps but this would make a noise if you was turning aswell so if thats the case more than likley its the drive shaft and you could have a loose arm ? or even loose drive shaft bolt just pop wheel off make sure thier all tight
