Group N Exhaust

  1. #1
    Hello Friends,

Just asking a question here really...

I've just fitted my new Group N Exhaust and it's sooo quiet I'm a little disappointed to be honest lol.

I went for it because I saw some Saxo's on YouTube with this same one and they were loud and popping like mad... I have Piper 4-1 Manifold and straight through Center pipe so it's not like it's got anything else quietening it

Has anyone else got one that's about as quiet as a standard exhaust or it is just me? Lol

Oh really? No mine's just plane lol so you think heat wrapping the hole system will make it louder and pop?

I wonder why that is, I'll try it mate thanks

yeah mate bassically it keep heat from going into the engine which is allways good and send that heat back into the system so the gases stay in the system long and hotter so when you put your foot back on the gas hot air with cold air then bang (something like this someone may explain it more) but yes it really does help loads, it give the exhaust a different sound though yes because the exhaust will be blowing hotter fumes out so it makes a different tone

If its brand new, then it will still need coking up, plus the group n class cars were never loud and need to keep the noise to a minimum.
