Important! : next mot question rusty wing??

   my wing has rusted really bad and i was going to repleace it in due time but i hit a cat yesterday.. and now the wing has got a hole in it where the rust was.. its around 1-1.5 inch long... near the front of the arch...
   
   
   question is... will they fail it on this at the mot???

   if there are any sharp edges then yes it will fail

   temporary measure is to either bung some fibreglass in the hole, even a pice of duct tape over it, so long as the sharp edges are covered and pose no danger to pedestrians the MOT shouldn't be a problem unless the tester is a real fussy bugger
