boot light

   hi peeps i was wondering if some one can shred some light on this as i dont know wats wrong i just notice that my boot light wont turn off when boot is shut and my alarm goes nuts when armed i took the light out and switch so i dnt knw which one as gone(if it that) but i have put the boot switch on the door switch and it does turn off the interior light so now im stubed now

   would say the switch is not catching the boot properly thus not disconnecting feed so light stays on had this on a friends car battery kept going flat in the end just left boot light disconnected

   i found out the problem i caught the wire from my alarm under the seat and it was earthing against the car when i cut the wire the switch worked so i just run new wire and all good now
