Clutch/Gearbox help needed

   not a mechanic, so i need some guidance.
   
   Got a 2002 vtr, clutch is slipping.
   
   does anyone know of any step by step guides, or videos, of how to repair or lengthen the life out of this clutch until i get my wages and buy a new one.
   
   how to slacken the cable? and/or top the gearbox up with oil.
   
   any help would be great, thanks

   Make sure there is some slack in the cable (there will be i'm sure). All you can do is drive gently, accelerate slowly and go steady. Don't carry passengers because this will ask more from a slipping clutch. My old 3i clutch slipped for a year (bless it)! Never got round to changing it lol.
