Smoking Rears and Side Repeaters :)

  1. #1
Finally got some free time this afternoon, so got some tint spray and a few new bulbs as i found out i had a few out?! at first it was just left brake light but that was merely tip of the iceberg.

anyhow, got back and started straight away, im not sure how dark to got though, so i will test fit them later before i go any darker!

what i wanted to ask was how long will i need to leave them before they're dry? and do i need to laquer them?

here are my smoked rears mate......

i waited 2 hours under cool temperatures then 24 hours later just literally got some metallic car wax and waxed the shit out of them!! i think mine are a bit too dark but still look cool for a £14.99 spray!

they look good, mine are the same darkness and passed mot,is one slightly darker than the other or is it just the light?

yeh same, is it worth waxing them? it says to polish them 24 hours after you do it so i may give it ago aswell! or i may make them a bit darker!

yer mine are legal. now just wax them like mad mate and they cum up alot better. yer its just the light making it look lighter!

    nice job btw

yeh they are legal as long as you can see Brake lights, Hazard Lights, Indicators etc etc clearly

look smart just a bit on the darkside for me but overall i think they look really smart espacially how the side repeaters blend in to the trim/ bumpers
