5th injector

    As title were can you get them from? How do you wire them up?

    Would like to no asap please, any one got one for sale?

    You connect it to the MF2 SIGCON as far as I know. The 5th [and maybe 6th] injector is just a normal injector attached to the elbow just before the throttle body.

    Mates turbod his saw but needs my petrol, and wants to get it running better befor he splashes for a new ecu.

    There are two options then, the 5/6th injector option with NEEDS a MF2 SIGCON to tell the injector(s) when to fire at certain revs or to buy 4 new injectors to replace the current ones which will need an ECU and remap ontop of that.

    edit-the SIGCON works on revs or TPS position or something like that. It's a pretty crude way of doing it but it works.

    5th injector is a very inaccurate and bad way of doing things imo. You're asking for a premature engine failure with such poor fuelling unless you're running bugger all power that is!

    As above, I wouldn't even bother with the 5th injector method. If you are going to do things, do them properly.

    lol, dam iphone, saxo, he only wants it to use for 3 weeks while he is saving for a pred, or am ecu.. so was just curious think he just going to wait.

    i would waste money like that just for 3 weeks dude... would run it without if it runs... what managment is it running on at the moment?

    it runs pretty well up to about 5k then boggs down, needs a decent map i think,

    he looking at pred or emarld ecu once he has the money.

    As people have said 5th injector require there own ECU. You can just disconnect the turbo actuator arm and drive slowly if you have to run it. Though your best not running it at all until you sort the fuelling out.
