if you put the mk1 manifold on it u can use the mk2 centre section and run it without a cat and just keep ure original cat and put it back on for mot. save you the money of having to buy a complete exhause just becaws u want a diffrent manifold mate. the saxos with the cat under the car are 10bhp less that the ones with the cat at the front of the engine aswell. hope this helps u

Yeah I've looked for a way around it for a while but if you want to be legal you have to have the cat and on our models that's an expensive one on the manifold!

How badly is your manifold leaking?

Your car looks tidy as well mate! Really like the style.

Its leaking very bad...i took it off the other day and put my ome one back on. My car is more powerful with the ome one and to tell you the truth that janspeed manifold is s**t.

if you put a mk1 mani on a mk2 you will need to convert mk2 oil filter to the mk1 version. there is a guide on here.
or you can just buy a mk2 mani that avoids the oil filter and then use mk1 exhaust system to cat it back up.
or buy a janspeed mani with sports cat in it, not cheap but is prob well worth it
