clocks not working after putting new engine in ??

i have a vtr 51 plate 3plug ecu car and i put a vts in it now but my clocks dont work it starts 1st time drives fine just no clocks only my speedo works and when im drivein it i go to put my foot down and it trys to cut out i have to do it slow the only thing i could think of thats makeing it do all this is the ecu as its running on a 106 gti ecu and its a saxo vts but i fort they would be the same can any one help ??? i would even pay some one if they can fix it some mite no me its use to be the wide arch purple saxo turbo now its the white wide arch one i was in top 25 at mod nats so if any one could help id sort them out thanks chris
