knock from suspension

   hi all,
   
   when i go over bumps recently it seems to knock
   
   its only just started doing this since i replaced the wishbone on that side along with it being undone for the driveshaft to be changed
   
   could it be because i did not use a new pinch bolt? or could it just be something not tight enough?

   really is best to replace pinchbolt when changing wishbones,so could be that. have you checked drop links, strut tops etc?

   had new drop links at the same time!
   
   and i know it is was a little rushed for time on the fitting side so will go get some new pinch bolts tomorrow and tighten everything up!

   anyone else putting this down to the pinch bolts? would they cause a knock that bad?

   usual things you have changed only othe posibilities are bolts loose or top mount on strut

   mine does is with 4 people in the car, from the back right, annoying grr

   did you take your drive shaft out when you dropped the arm off .....if so check to make sure you tightened it up enough as hub works its way lose

   i didnt but ricky p did when he replaced my shaft for me! but he used a snap on impact wrench to do it back up so i assume this was done to its tightest?
