Coilpack?

   My engine is rocking backwards and forwards and it runs like sh1t also the engine management light has switched on
   
   I changed the spark plugs today and nothing has happened
   
   It kinda goes slow up in revs but it doesnt even have any power?
   
   
   
   I asked a few garages and they said it is either the coilpack or spark plugs, is this right or?
   
   
   How do I check if the coilpack is in good cond??

   u don't. Get a diagnostics test and it will tell you. if the coilpack is gone it gets changed lol. Simples!

   but is that the symptom of a bad coilpack?

   Yes lack of power is a good sign of the coilpack mate.. Not always for sure but thats where i would start

   have you got a mate with a saxo? not see if his coil-packworks on yours,just to make sure?

   Bad running would point to coil pack, not in every case, but most times and the rocking, check your mounts

   Im off to the scrapyard to buy a coilpack it moves sooo slowww but the car still runs but not as enough power to it :/ and I think its causing the engine to rock so much
   
   
   
   would a new coilpack stop all the rocking and give more power?

    engine rocking will not be caused by your coilpack if thats whats your thinking. as mentioned above its most likely your engine mounts severely warn/damaged.

    hmmm... my engine and causes the whole car/exhaust to shake, not sure whats the problem there? :/ any suggestions?
    
    
    all the mounts look ok, the engine only started juddering when my cars exhaust fell off :/

    the engine is rocking due to the misfire this happened to mine i changed the coilpack works perfect now try a diagnostics first if your eml is on it should tell you its a coilpack failure.

    Even with a misfire I'm sure the engine wouldn't rock substantially. Wud surely be a good idea to check ur mounts. Maybe they were on the way out and after ur exhaust problem, the weight pulling on it has just been too much.
