Phase 2 8v VTR wont start.
diagnostic light is on so i need any info on a good reasonably priced code reader.
I have fuel getting through.
Hve taken coilpack off earthed and tested and no spark.
I bellieve it could be from searching on here the ecu injector relay under ecu or the crank sensor.
I guess vtrs eat coilpacks to so am at a possition now as i am out of work and i just dont know where to start.
Any ideas or a lend of a code reader would be great!
When it broke down i thought it was just a bad battery as it was going flat often so i have fitted new battery and gold terminalls.
it lost power/cylinders and only just got it home having to pop her out of gear and rev high.horrible missfire and the rev clock was going mental!backwards.
any input welcome peeps as this is very stressfull!
