K&N GENII Induction Kits + Engine Mods?

  1. #1
Hi all im new here,i've got a few things to do to the outside of my saxo but after that im working on the engine.
Currently I have a K&N GENII Induction kit in my VTR (90bhp) but many people don't seem to rate K&N?This one has got a heat shield etc but don't really know how much BHP i've gained from it if any .

Anyway I've got my eye on a Supersprint or Milltek 4-2-1 Manifold,a PT40K Kent Cam,getting it superchipped (Graham Goodes In Leicester do it) & finally getting it all re-mapped and was just wondering after all that what I was likely to have gained?

    Thanks Alot

its not that people dont rate K&N they have very good filtration however the "open filter" style of air filter is what people dont rate for performance as it sucks hot air

i wont mention the other bits as im no expert

to be honest the amount of money and time you might aswell get a vts as the gains will prob be about the same i reckon if not a bit less then a vts granted you may say the insurance on a vts is more but if you do them changes youll have to notify your insurance and mods will increase it anyway!
