starter motor is only 3 months old, sometimes it works and then it dont, surely if starter motor is knackered then it just wouldnt start anytime????

I have had starters die a slow death in the past.

If you have just recently changed the starter with a new part you can eliminate the starter and look at other avenues.

Why name the title of your thread starter motor though?

It's unlikely if it's only 3 months old tbh.

Was it a brand new part?

Hi, I also have the same problem as this just now I think.

Sometimes when I try and start the car it will just click and nothing will happen except the lights will come on. So far I have just turned the key off and back on again and it will start fine but no doubt it wont start in the near future.

Do you's think this will be a starter motor problem?

    Cheers.
