Furio Manifold

    Hi,

I have a citroen saxo furio sitting in the garage ready until i start driving.
MY question is : Should a furio have a 4-1 manifold???

depends whether its stainless steel and has been fitted by previous owner... Or are we talking about a standard system ?

standard they have a 4-1 ye what material is it made out of tho?

I'm sure its the standard one.
It's not a stainless steel one because it's quite rusty.

Would i get any more power if i put a 4-2-1 S/S manifold onto it???

if you have a full SS system ( exhaust ) Youll see more gains
But i suppose you COULD theoretically. You mise well spend your money on an exhaust tho... i got my exhaust first, then now im getin my SS manifold.

Does a furio manifold look pretty much like this :

I'm only asking because mine look's exactly the same as this.

with a furio if you put a 4-2-1 manifold on you will get more power as it will de-cat is well as the cat is in the manifold on a furio. tbh on a 8 valve car you want a 4-2-1 for get a longer rev range as you usually feel the car go at 6k revs so 4-2-1 would be best for little more power from de-cat and longer rev range which is what a 8 valve needs
