seems like acceleration dies then comes back

   Hi all,
   
   my Saxo 1.1 runs fine until its been being drove for about 30mins to an hour then it seems like the acceration just goes then comes back. it also makes the car run jumpy like kangarooing?
   
   any idea what this could be.

   Symptoms would suggest your coil pack is fooked.

   sounds like coilpack to me too, does your car sound different?

   Coilpack mate, before you go buying one, take i off and spray it with WD40. Worked for me!

   That happened with me, changed the spark plugs and it hasn't happened since

   Anyone else had an experience with this where it wasn't coilpack? I've tried coilpack, injectors, spark plugs... Cleaned mapp sensor. I'm putting a fuel filter on tomorrow but i'm getting tired of it lol.

   cheers for the replies guys, i will give the suggesttions ago, however i only got the car 3 days ago so cant really say if it sounds different. also it done it for the first few days then got a mate to clear the error codes and that has seemed to sort it for now, so i will see what happens and if need be i will have to replace the coil pack.
   
   any one know if there are 2 different ones or what cause eurocarparts is coming up with 2 completly different 1s

   Iirc there's 2 different plugs on them, so you will need the correct one.
